I agree, its not that the races are to long, its that the action is not long enough!!!!!

Its been high time for Nascar to start giving 'incentive to lead laps", especially in the early and mid portains of a race! The way it is now is you are basically sitting for 3 hours just to watch the last 30 minutes!

Paying points or money to lead laps would surely be of help! The distance of a race does not matter!! I have seen better 600 Charlotte races than New Hampshire 300s!!!!!!!

I think every race should be either 250miles or 375 miles. Of course, that would mean that they would all be run on 1/2 or 3/4 mile tracks.

You can count on me being ticked off if they shorten the length of any race. The change that should be made is any 1.5 and 2 mile race track should only have 1 date except Charlotte. Have a few more short tracks added. Everything is boring if it looks the same after a while.

I know that the wife and I would be upset if they shortened the race at Vegas, the only one we can get to reasonably from where we are. Be darned if I'll pay money for flight/hotel/food and watch a 250 mi race. Agree with post before me, length isn't problem, just the fact that races are getting bored. This in a big part due to fact that NASCAR has over regulated the cars, let them make a few more adjustments/modifications to cars like they used to.

I think the big issue is the boringness of the races not the length. Some people relate boring to too long. I would like to see some races shortened, but that is not the problem Nascar is facing. Until Nascar decides to concentrate on putting a car on th track that provides good racing, discourages the practice of points racing, i.e. get rid of the Chase, it doesn't matter how long the races are, the parades each Sunday are still going to continue.
